Information you give us
We save and store the information you give us via our website, including when you donate to us. We require this information so we can fulfill your request and/or return your message as efficiently as possible. If you choose not to provide any of that information, we may not be able to fulfill your request (including completing the donation online). Refusing to provide information will not inhibit your access to the rest of our site.
If you would like to donate to HQ but do not feel comfortable providing personal information online, we encourage you to donate via check.
When you donate
When you donate to HQ through our website, your personal information is completely secured through neoncrm.com. Information on how NEON handles privacy is available on that website.
When you donate or volunteer at HQ, we ask that you make a user profile. The information in that user profile is for internal use only, and we use it to maintain contact with you, and/or to provide you with more targeted content (e.g.: volunteer opportunities or project updates).
HQ will follow appropriate practices to ensure that all contribution transactions are conducted in a secure manner and that all data related to donors is stored securely. Access to donor information will be limited to the Executive Director, Development staff, and designated individuals in the Finance Department.
Discontinue contact policy
Individuals and organizations may request (verbally or in writing) to have their names, postal addresses and email addresses removed from solicitation lists and other lists to which request HQ will quickly confirm and comply. It is important to note that some requests may be received at a time when it is too late to stop a specific distribution project that is in process.
Links to other websites
HQ’s website may contain links to third-party websites, including nonprofits and other organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practice, policies, or content of such websites. You do not need permission to create a link from your website to ours. If there is a link that you think we should include on our site, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject “link request.”
HQ periodically sends mass email communications. You may subscribe/unsubscribe from the email list at any time. We do not sell, rent, trade or share our email list, although we may occasionally send an announcement that we think may be of interest on behalf of a community partner.
You may also choose to send us personally identifying information via email or web form. We use this information to respond to your request and conduct internal analysis. We may forward your email to other HQ staff members who are better able to answer your questions, and we may also use your email to contact you in the future.
