About HQ

A Youth-Centered Resource and Community

HQ is a drop-in center for youth ages 14-24 in housing crisis. We work with youth who don’t have a safe place to call home, are couch surfing, sleeping outside, or just need a safe place to connect with caring adults.

At HQ, youth experience real relationships and belonging. We are a safe, affirming space to fulfill basic needs like laundry, warm meals, and showers. Youth also can connect to community resources, including support case management, counseling, housing, and job readiness skills.

We are committed to letting youth define their future, and doing our best to build authentic connections that help them realize their dreams on their own terms. Each and every person at HQ believes in the power of being seen and loved exactly as you are, and is committed to HQ’s mission of breaking the cycle of homelessness in West Michigan.
