What can I expect on my first visit?
On your first visit you will be greeted by our Welcome Specialist. Our Welcome Specialist will explain the membership process at HQ and make sure you get a tour of the space.
Once you’re a member, you have complete access to everything HQ as long as you need it and are within our membership range.
What do I need to bring on my first visit?
To become a member of HQ you will need to bring a document with your birthday on it. We accept the following documents as proof of date of birth:
- A report card
- School enrollment documents
- School ID
- Medical documents,
- Birth certificate
- State ID
- Driver’s license
- Court or jail records
If you don’t have access to any of these documents, please come to the drop-in for your age group and we can help you verify your birthday.
Who can I talk to?
At HQ you will be met by HQ staff and volunteers whose role is to introduce you to the space and the services available to you and ensure you feel welcomed and safe. We are available to answer any questions and connect you to resources.
What is the Membership Agreement?
To become a member at HQ, you must agree to the Membership Agreement. This is a document that explains what you can expect from staff and volunteers at HQ in addition to our expectations for maintaining a safe space. All membership information is confidential. HQ staff can answer any questions you may have about the membership agreement.
